PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk (Blibli) has introduced a new service that allows travellers to convert Blibli Tiket Rewards points into KrisFlyer Miles with Singapore Airlines
ON September 24th, 2024, PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk (Blibli) announced the launch of its KrisFlyer Miles exchange service in Indonesia, in collaboration with Singapore Airlines. This innovative service enables travellers to directly convert their Blibli Tiket Rewards points into KrisFlyer Miles, providing access to flight offers to over 110 destinations served by Singapore Airlines.
Mr. Soegianto Martanto, the Head of Membership and Loyalty at Blibli, expressed pride in being the first omnichannel commerce partner of Singapore Airlines to integrate Blibli Tiket Rewards with KrisFlyer Miles. “We are offering an exclusive conversion rate in Indonesia of 1 KrisFlyer Mile for 150 Blibli Tiket Rewards points,” he stated in a press release on Wednesday.
The partnership addresses the growing interest among the public in air travel. According to a survey by the Official Airline Guide (OAG), more travellers are planning to fly three or more times each year, with 82 percent enrolled in loyalty programs to enjoy discounts and exclusive benefits. This trend has prompted airlines worldwide to enhance customer engagement by providing more flexible options for redeeming miles.
Mr. Aloysius Aldi Wiratsongko, KrisFlyer Partnership Manager at Singapore Airlines, highlighted that the collaboration simplifies travel planning for Indonesians, allowing for greater flexibility and benefits through the KrisFlyer Rewards program. From September 24th to 30th, 2024, customers can exchange 150 Blibli Tiket Rewards points for 1 KrisFlyer Mile, with a minimum redemption of 7,500 points.
To redeem Blibli Tiket Rewards for KrisFlyer Miles, customers can follow these simple steps:
- Log into their Blibli Tiket account
- Navigate to the membership menu
- Select the desired number of KrisFlyer Miles to exchange
- Follow the instructions provided.
- After a successful redemption, users will be directed to log into their KrisFlyer account to see their miles automatically updated.
