Singapore and Indonesia showcase commitment to climate action and environmental sustainability
INDONESIAN Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Suryo Pratomo, attended the inauguration of the Singapore Sustainability Academy Annex on July 25th, 2024. The ceremony was inaugurated by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Heng Swee Keat. The Singapore Sustainability Academy Annex is a movement of all stakeholders to take climate action to save the Earth from global warming.
On the same day, the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ms. Siti Nurbaya, launched a book entitled “Indonesia’s Forest Conditions 2024”. Ms. Siti emphasized Indonesia’s commitment to participating in the global movement to save our environment.
Both events underscored the critical need for international cooperation in addressing environmental challenges. Singapore and Indonesia’s initiatives reflect a shared dedication to creating a sustainable future and mitigating the impacts of climate change. These actions align with global efforts to protect the environment and ensure the well-being of future generations, international cooperation, sustainable future, climate change mitigation.
