The Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore attended the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H celebration organised by Friendship Club Indonesia (FCI), one of the active Indonesian community groups in Singapore. The event took place in a warm and festive atmosphere, bringing together members of the diaspora, representatives of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI), and other invited guests.

Held in Singapore, the celebration served not only as a moment of togetherness but also as a platform to foster national spirit and community engagement. A key highlight of the programme was a speech competition, in which participants—particularly from the PMI group—expressed themes related to nationalism, resilience while living abroad, and the importance of solidarity among Indonesian citizens.

The event showcased the continued commitment of Indonesian communities overseas to preserve their cultural identity and values. The presence of the Indonesian Ambassador reinforced the importance of unity and cultural connection within the diaspora.

Friendship Club Indonesia has remained an active force in promoting community initiatives and cultural activities among Indonesians in Singapore, and the Eid celebration reflected their dedication to strengthening social bonds and national pride.
