Deputy Ambassador Ismojo led the 76th Anniversary of Youth Pledge Day

On October 28th, 2024, the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore held a solemn ceremony to mark the 76th anniversary of Youth Pledge Day. The ceremony, a significant event in Indonesia’s history, was led by Mr. Djati Ismojo, Deputy Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore, who served as the ceremony inspector.

In his address, Deputy Ambassador Ismojo underscored the importance of the Youth Pledge, a historical declaration that united the youth of Indonesia in 1928 under the ideals of “One Motherland, One Nation, and One Language.” He encouraged participants to embody the spirit of unity and resilience as they contribute to Indonesia’s progress.

Attendees included embassy staff and members of the Indonesian community in Singapore, all coming together to honour this day of national pride. The embassy’s leadership extended greetings to Indonesians both at home and abroad, urging everyone to carry forward the Youth Pledge’s message of unity.

The event concluded with a sense of patriotism, as the embassy community embraced the theme “Maju Bersama Indonesia Raya” (Advance Together with the Great Indonesia), reaffirming their commitment to Indonesia’s growth and solidarity.
