KBRI Singapura and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo’s Communication Studies Programme are teaming up to host a discussion on social media. In today’s world, social media has become an integral part of our daily lives. While it can bring joy with new friendships, shares, and likes, it can also lead to defamation, fraud, and more. The event will take place on Sunday, 30th April 2023, starting at 11:00 SGT, at the Indonesian Embassy at 7 Chatworth Rd, Singapore 249761.
The event will focus on three topics related to social media:
– “Hoax News Investigation,” presented by M. Andi Fikri, M.Si.
– “Joking or Bullying?” presented by Poppy Febriana, M.Med.Kom
– “Being Wise on Social Media,” presented by Nur Maghfirah Aesthetika, M.Med.Kom.
