Nyana Nyana Eco, a Singapore-based eco-fashion brand and social enterprise under raiSE (Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise), reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and regional collaboration with its retail concept, Something Sustainable. The initiative introduced a multi-brand store featuring collections from various local and regional fashion labels that promote sustainable values.

Established in 2019, Nyana Nyana Eco has built a reputation as a pioneer in blending fashion aesthetics with environmental and social consciousness. Its products have been featured at key retail locations across Singapore, including Design Orchard and Mandai Stores at Singapore Zoo, symbolising a tangible push for positive change in the fashion industry.

Since August 2024, the Something Sustainable concept has served as a strategic step for Nyana Nyana Eco to broaden its impact. The brand not only showcased its own designs but also curated sustainable fashion items from Indonesian and Southeast Asian labels. One notable highlight was the presence of naturally dyed hand-drawn batik, reflecting Indonesia’s cultural heritage through an eco-friendly approach.

As a member of the Tanjong Pagar Designers Clan (TPD Clan) — a collective of 14 Singapore-based creative brands with shared values in design excellence and sustainability — Nyana Nyana Eco participated in the official launch of the TPD Clan on 16 and 17 May 2025.

The event was graced by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, Suryo Pratomo, who engaged in a conversation with Nyana Nyana Eco founder Clara Simanjutak on 16 May 2025. They discussed opportunities to introduce and expand the reach of sustainable Indonesian creative products in international markets, particularly through community-based and cross-border collaboration. The Ambassador’s presence symbolised support for Indonesia’s creative diaspora and aligned with the country’s growing emphasis on creative economic diplomacy.
