VOB gained global attention around mid-2017 for their unique blend of music. The trio, still attending vocational school at the time, often performed their original song “The Enemy of Earth Is You”.
They chose the name “Baceprot”, which translates to “noisy” in Sundanese, to represent the type of music they play, which is a fusion of metal and traditional Indonesian influences.
