KBRI Singapore receives recognition from Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower for supporting International Migrant Day 2024

On International Migrant Day (IMD) 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore (KBRI Singapore) was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Ministry of Manpower (MoM) in recognition of its active participation in the event. The certificate was presented by Fathima Begum, Manager of Engagement and Partnerships, Communications & Engagement, ACE (Assurance, Care & Engagement Group), MoM.
The event aimed to raise awareness of the valuable contributions made by migrant communities in Singapore, build public appreciation, and strengthen relationships between Singaporeans and migrants. KBRI Singapore’s involvement demonstrated the embassy’s ongoing commitment to supporting migrant communities and promoting mutual understanding and collaboration.
The appreciation was received by representatives from KBRI Singapore, led by the Head of Representative of KBRI. The team’s participation aligned with the theme of IMD 2024: Joining Hands, Building Bonds, reflecting their dedication to fostering stronger ties and solidarity between migrant communities and the local population.
