
Top Indonesian officials underscore regional cooperation and investment synergy during high-level ASEAN forum in Singapore
The Indonesian Government actively participated in the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ASEAN SBF Conference) held on 3 July in Singapore. The conference was officially opened by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister, Gan Kim Yong, and brought together key regional leaders and policymakers to discuss ASEAN’s economic integration in a changing global landscape.

Representing Indonesia, Prof. Tirta Mursitama, Deputy for Cooperation on Capital Investment at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming (BKPM), served as a panelist during the Ministerial Dialogue themed “ASEAN Integration in a Multipolar World.” He highlighted Indonesia’s approach to regional partnerships in fostering resilience and balanced economic development across ASEAN.
Indonesia’s Ambassador to Singapore delivered opening remarks at the Indonesia Breakout Track, where he emphasised the role of collective cooperation in accelerating Indonesia’s economic growth and achieving a sustainable future. The session featured discussions on strategic investment opportunities and collaborative pathways to strengthen economic ties.
Also contributing to the Indonesia Breakout Track was Mr. Nurul Ichwan, Deputy for Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Investment/BKPM. His participation reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to promoting inclusive investment and enhancing ASEAN connectivity through focused dialogue and policy alignment.
