Indonesia showcases its great potential at the Food and Hotel Asia 2024 exhibition in Singapore Expo, with a collaborative effort from various Indonesian entities, highlighting the growth of “Indonesia Incorporated.”
Indonesia once again participated in the Food and Hotel Asia 2024 exhibition held at the Singapore Expo from 23-26 April 2024. This time, the collaboration was exceptionally strong as Indonesian participants to gathered in an “Island” that showcased the country’s immense potential. The concept of “Indonesia Incorporated” is increasingly solidified through cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, Bank Indonesia, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and PT Astra International. A total of 38 small and medium-sized enterprises took part in the event.
The Food and Beverage industry stands as one of Indonesia’s largest contributors to exports, with the country achieving a record-high trade surplus nearing USD 4.5 billion in March alone. This significant presence at Food and Hotel Asia 2024 emphasised Indonesia’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the global F&B market, leveraging its diverse culinary heritage and rich agricultural resources.
The collaborative efforts between various Indonesian entities signify a strategic approach to promoting Indonesia’s culinary and hospitality industries on an international stage. With representation from both governmental and private sectors, this unified presence amplifies Indonesia’s voice and strengthens its position as a key player in the global food and hospitality industry.
