Indonesia’s pavilion at FHA HoReCa 2024 promoted unique local products to the Asian market

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia participated in the Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) HoReCa 2024

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, with support from the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, participated in the Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) HoReCa 2024 exhibition held at Singapore Expo. The Indonesian pavilion featured products from the Indonesian Herbal Council, La Moringa, and Sila Artisan Tea, captivating attendees with traditional Indonesian flavours and innovations.

Deputy Ambassador of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, Mr. Sulistijo Djati Ismojo, visited the pavilion to show support for the country’s exhibitors. The Indonesian booth, organised in collaboration with the Ministry’s Deputy of Marketing, aimed to enhance Indonesia’s presence in the Asian market by showcasing local products with export potential. This participation was part of the ministry’s broader effort to increase the visibility and market penetration of Indonesian brands across Asia.

Held from October 22 to 25, 2024, FHA HoReCa is one of Asia’s premier exhibitions for the hotel, restaurant, and catering industries, showcasing innovative products and services. Indonesia’s pavilion included displays of signature items such as traditional herbal drinks, teas, and moringa-based products, representing a wide range of local small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The pavilion’s goal was to support these SMEs while strengthening Indonesia’s international brand presence.

Through this participation, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy aimed to boost Indonesian tourism and promote the unique qualities of Indonesian culinary products, contributing to the broader branding of Indonesia as a destination for cultural and gastronomic experiences.
