
Ambassador Suryo pratomo met with Indonesian athletes in Singapore ahead of the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, expressing pride and support for their international efforts.
Singapore, 30 July 2025 — The Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Suryo Pratomo, welcomed the Indonesian contingent competing in the 2025 World Aquatics Championships during their visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Singapore.
In his remarks, Ambassador expressed his pride and appreciation for the athletes, who were set to represent Indonesia on the global aquatic sports stage. He encouraged them to strive for excellence and bring honour to the nation through their performances.

The contingent consisted of elite athletes from various aquatic disciplines, including swimming, diving, water polo, and artistic swimming. Each athlete had undergone intensive preparations to compete against some of the world’s best. Their visit to the Indonesian Embassy served as a morale boost and a moment of unity before the start of the competition.
The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore reaffirmed its commitment to providing moral support to the athletes throughout the championship period.
The 2025 World Aquatics Championships is taking place in Singapore from 1 to 11 August, with participants from around the world. Indonesia’s team aimed to surpass its previous achievements and further establish the country’s standing in international aquatic sports.
