PT Privy Identitas Digital (Privy), a certified electronic signature startup from Indonesia, received the prestigious NextGen Tech 30 Award, recognizing 30 high-growth technology companies in ASEAN. The award ceremony took place at SGX Centre, the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024.
The event, attended by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, highlighted Privy’s contributions to the advancement of the digital industry in Southeast Asia. Privy’s CEO, Marshall Pribadi, expressed his gratitude in an official statement from Jakarta, emphasising the company’s mission to revolutionise digital identity and electronic transactions.
“We are committed to driving progress in the digital industry in Southeast Asia. This award inspires us to continue our journey towards a safer and more seamless future for the digital industry,” said Pribadi. He also hoped that the recognition would motivate young entrepreneurs to remain dedicated and consistent in their business endeavours, utilising available resources to strengthen strategic partnerships across ASEAN and internationally.
Founded in 2016, Privy has established itself as a leading digital trust service provider, offering digital identity and signature solutions. In 2018, Privy became the first non-government institution licensed as a Certificate Authority by Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
The NextGen Tech 30 Award, a public-private initiative in ASEAN, recognizes and supports emerging companies transforming the region’s economy. Candidates for the award were shortlisted since March 2024 and evaluated by experts in digital technology, banking, insurance, securities, and media.
