The leadership of BKSAP DPR RI conducted a diplomatic visit to the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore on Thursday, 6 March 2025. During the visit, they met with the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, Mr Suryo Pratomo, to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss parliamentary diplomacy.

Singapore was the first country visited by the entire BKSAP leadership since the inauguration of the Bilateral Cooperation Group (GKSB) on 30 January 2025. Chairman of BKSAP, Mardani Ali Sera (F-PKS), highlighted the strategic importance of ASEAN countries in parliamentary diplomacy and emphasised the need to enhance political, economic, and social relations through collaborative initiatives.

The meeting was attended by four Deputy Heads of BKSAP: Ravindra Airlangga (F-PDIP), Irine Yusiana Roba Putri (F-PG), Muhammad Husein Fadlulloh (F-PGerindra), and Bramantyo Suwondo (F-PD). Discussions covered various efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and advance diplomatic engagement between Indonesia and Singapore.
