AMBASSADOR SURYO PRATOMO GRACES THE INAUGURATION OF SURBANA JURONG CAMPUS, FOSTERING INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION IN THE HEART OF SINGAPORE’S JURONG INNOVATION DISTRICT.
The opening ceremony of Surbana Jurong (SJ) Campus, situated in Singapore’s Jurong Innovation District (JID), witnessed the presence of key dignitaries, including Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, and Chaly MAH, Chairman of SJ. Ambassador Suryo Pratomo of the Republic of Indonesia also attended the prestigious event.
Deputy Prime Minister Wong highlighted the significance of SJ Campus as an incubator for innovation and industrial collaboration, leveraging research facilities at institutions like NTU and A Star. With a strategic location within JID, the campus is poised to foster expanded collaboration and drive innovation across sectors.
Expressing his congratulations, Ambassador Suryo Pratomo commended the opening of SJ Campus during his interaction with Philip Cheok, the Chief Financial Officer of SJ. The ambassador’s presence underscored Indonesia’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral ties and collaboration in the realm of urban and infrastructure development.
Spanning a vast area of 68,915 m2, SJ Campus accommodates over 40,000 employees hailing from diverse nationalities. With a talent pool comprising engineers, architects, designers, and planners from 103 countries, SJ is well-positioned to provide cutting-edge urban and infrastructure consulting services across various sectors.
With an extensive portfolio of 7,000 active projects in 49 countries, including significant endeavours in Singapore such as MRT expansions and infrastructure developments at Changi Airport, Jurong Port, and Tuas Terminal, SJ continues to drive innovation and shape the urban landscape in Singapore and beyond.
