Preparing families with expert insights from pregnancy to newborn care
Thomson Medical Singapore will host “Bump, Birth & Beyond” on 29 August 2026 at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, offering a one-day programme focused on pregnancy, childbirth, newborn health, and early parenting.
The event will cover essential topics across the maternity experience, including labour preparation, post-delivery care, confinement recovery, breastfeeding, and family planning. Through expert discussions, participants can gain practical insights to better understand the changes and decisions that come with welcoming a new baby.
Healthcare specialists from Thomson Medical will lead sessions addressing different stages of maternity care. Dr Ryan Lee from Thomson Specialists (Woodleigh) will share guidance on pregnancy, labour, and birth preparation, while Dr Tan Kuan Yang from Thomson Paediatric Centre will discuss newborn health during the first days and weeks after delivery. Physician Lee Hui Min from Thomson Chinese Medicine will also highlight approaches to maternal recovery during confinement.
The programme will include additional sessions on breastfeeding myths, cord blood banking and stem cell preservation, as well as financial planning considerations for growing families.
